I'm currently building products at Notion. Previously I was product manager at Dropbox, a venture capitalist at Spark Capital, and an investment banker at Credit Suisse.

I grew up in Ankara, Turkey up until university, and then moved to the US to attend the University of Chicago where I studied economics and computer science. After Chicago, I started my career in New York City, then to San Francisco, and then back to New York, where I currently live with my amazing wife.

My wife and I love traveling, predominantly to the Mediterranean and Europe. The Mediterranean is our happy place, since both my wife and I grew up there.

I'm a football fan (not soccer, football), and try to join a pickup game on the pitch whenever I have the opportunity. My favorite teams are Besiktas in the Turkish Super League and Manchester City in the English Premier League.

I started my career in tech investment banking at Credit Suisse, during a very active IPO market. I wasn't as aware of the tech industry back then until I stumbled my way into venture capital at Spark Capital. Venture was the bridge that allowed me to jump from finance to tech. While venture was great, I felt the need to get closer to building so I joined Dropbox to learn product management initially working on Dropbox Paper, then leading an area of products focused on creative collaboration. In 2021, I was lucky enough to join Notion as the first product manager when the company had 30 engineers and 2 designers. I continue to have the privilege of building high quality products at Notion with some of the highest craft builders out there.
